    Reginald Fant, Ph.D.'s photo

    Reginald (Reggie) V. Fant, Ph.D., first joined Pinney Associates in 1997. Since joining the company, Reggie's responsibilities have included literature reviews and report writing on a number of topics related to nicotine replacement, smoking cessation medications, abuse liability of prescription and over-the-counter medications, and new product development. He also participates in the company's development of novel drug delivery systems.

    Reggie's background includes clinical laboratory research on the abuse liability of nicotine and other drugs of abuse, physiological and subjective effects of nicotine, as well as laboratory studies with potential smoking and opioid treatment medications.

    After completing his doctorate in experimental psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1993, Reggie completed postdoctoral fellowships in the Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Clinical Pharmacology Branch of the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
