Christine T. Sweeney, Ph.D., MPH, joined the issues management team of Pinney Associates in 2000. Her responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, drafting manuscripts for professional publication and working with the integrated teams to develop a public health rationale to support clients' efforts.
After completing her doctorate in biobehavioral health at Penn State University in 1998, Christine began a post-doctoral fellowship in cancer prevention and control at the National Cancer Institute. As part of her post-doctoral training, Christine completed a master's in public health, with a concentration in epidemiology, at Johns Hopkins University.
Christine has authored or co-authored several papers published in scientific journals, including CNS Drugs, Tobacco Control and Pharmacology Biochemistry and Behavior. Her research experience to date has focused on the areas of health promotion and disease prevention, with a primary emphasis on behavioral risk factors for chronic disease.
