  • Janine Pillitteri, Ph.D., Director, Clinical and Behavioral Research

    Janine L. Pillitteri, Ph.D., joined Pinney Associates in 1998. As Director of Clinical and Behavioral Research, Janine's responsibilities include project management for pharmaceutical studies and clinical trials, protocol development and case report form design, questionnaire design and testing, data analysis in collaboration with the Data Management and Analysis Team, literature reviews, and final study report development and manuscript writing.

    Janine has a broad research background in drug abuse, smoking and nicotine addiction, the interaction of health and behavior, and health promotion and disease prevention. She has co-authored more than 30 published papers and served as a scientific reviewer for several journals, including Addiction, The American Journal on Addictions, Tobacco Control and Health Psychology.

    After receiving her doctorate in biobehavioral health from the Pennsylvania State University in 1996, Janine completed a post-doctoral fellowship in human behavioral pharmacology at the University of Vermont in 1998.
