Michelle D. Ertischek, MPH, joined PinneyAssociates in 2001. As Senior Associate, Michelle is responsible for managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver strategic counsel to clients. She is also responsible for conducting expert interviews, and developing reports, analyses of the scientific literature, and issues assessments.
At PinneyAssociates, Michelle has focused on topics including OTC switch, dermatology, women's and reproductive health, and risk management for controlled substances.
Previously, Michelle worked at the international public relations agency Porter Novelli where she supervised a wide variety of health care and pharmaceutical accounts. She brings her expertise in marketing, communications and coalition building to questions of issues and risk management.
A 1995 graduate of Wellesley College, Michelle completed her masters of public health, with a focus on health policy, at George Washington University in 2007. While in graduate school, Michelle developed policy recommendations at the request of the vice chair of the Prince George's County Council in Maryland on using smart growth policies for the built environment to improve public health.
