Deena Battista oversees all data management and analytic tasks related to a large online behavioral surveillance program investigating patterns of OTC and Rx medication usage. She also provides data management and statistical analysis support for Rx-to-OTC switch projects and clinical trials for abuse deterrent drugs. With over 20 years of data management and analytic experience, she provides clients with the expertise, efficiency and accuracy necessary to make well-informed decisions.
Since joining PinneyAssociates in 2012, Deena has presented clients with detailed assessments and clinical characteristics of consumer behavioral usage patterns for both OTC and Rx medications. She has provided clients with critical analytic details and summary presentations regarding consumer behaviors necessary for Rx-to-OTC switch projects. Within controlled clinical trials, she has also analyzed drug abuse characteristics and provided product comparisons and delivered detailed reports. She has authored or co-authored 12 papers in peer-reviewed journals, four book chapters and invited published papers, and 16 scientific presentations.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Deena received a Master’s in Child Development/Child Care and a Doctorate in Developmental and Educational Psychology, with a focus on Research Methodology and Statistics. She is the proud mother of four beautiful children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her devoted husband and watching their children play sports.
