Supporting the abuse potential assessment, clinical development and post-marketing surveillance of CNS-active drugs.

Caitlyn’s interest in abuse liability research together with drug development and regulatory science attracted her to Pinney Associates, and us to her. Her analytic skills and insights add value to project teams working on:

  • Abuse potential assessments and eight factor analyses
  • Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) and postmarketing surveillance
  • Regulatory submissions
  • Clinical trial designs and protocol development
  • Target Product Profile development

Caitlyn completed her MS at Drexel University while working part-time at Pinney Associates, where she contributed to eight factor analyses, postmarketing surveillance reports, and the preparation of competitive intelligence assessments to support the development of target product profiles. Prior to joining Pinney Associates in 2021, Caitlyn earned a BS in psychology from the University of Maryland before heading to Johns Hopkins, where she joined the Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit (BPRU) and Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research—first as a research program assistant, then as a coordinator and regulatory specialist working on HAP studies. She has a keen interest in abuse liability research, as well as overall drug development and regulatory science, and has experience creating and maintaining INDs.
