Driving public health, science, communications, and policy alignment to support market transformation away from combustible tobacco to reduced-risk sources of nicotine

Expertise

Robyn advises clients on public health legislative and regulatory policy efforts, including submissions to FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products for premarket tobacco product applications (PMTAs) and modified risk tobacco product applications (MRTPAs). Robyn has also supported preparation for FDA Tobacco Products Scientific Advisory Committee (TPSAC) meetings. Her focus includes:

  • Relationship building with public health leaders, tobacco control policy experts, and scientists globally
  • Regulatory submissions to FDA and international regulatory organizations, relying upon latest science and evidence, and conveying key findings across a wide range of stakeholders

Experience

Before joining Pinney Associates in 2015, Robyn worked at Trust for America’s Health (TFAH), a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization in Washington, D.C., dedicated to saving lives by protecting the health of every person and community and making the prevention of illness and injury a national priority. At TFAH, Robyn educated members of Congress and their staffs about state-specific prevention and public health provisions and programs created by the Affordable Care Act. She also advocated for public health programs during the appropriations process. Earlier, Robyn interned in the office of U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire.
